Winston WassaWinston has built his reputation through years of hands-on carpentry experience, developing the skills and craftsmanship needed to deliver high-quality work on every project. As Lead Hand Carpenter at KPN Contracting, he takes pride in turning plans into finished products while ensuring every detail is completed to a professional standard.

KPN Contracting is proudly owned and operated by Jesse Anderson, a landscape design specialist with a degree in project management and heavy equipment operating. Jesse started this company as a father, inspired by his first son Nolan, and with the support of his wife Kylie, who has been a huge partner in building this venture.
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in excavation, carpentry (deck building, fence building, and contracting), and design, Jesse brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. He is motivated, detail-driven, and backed by the right team of professionals to complete work efficiently and at the best possible cost. What truly sets him apart is his work ethic—Jesse refuses to sit back and always leads from the front, being the hardest working member of his crew while guiding his team toward success in Nanaimo, BC.
Beyond construction, Jesse is also deeply committed to his community. He gives back by coaching youth football, including his own son’s team. Through coaching, he teaches discipline, teamwork, and confidence—helping kids grow both on and off the field. This dedication to the next generation is an extension of the same values he brings to his business: leadership, hard work, and building something lasting.
